  • "Dr. Kirsten worked MAGIC! I couldn't stand on my right leg before laying down on her table, and when I stood up 10 minutes later, I COULD! She got me through the last 8 weeks of my pregnancy completely pain free, after being in debilitating pain for over a month and unable to get relief from other providers. I could not recommend her more highly and will certainly be back for any postpartum concerns I have. THANK YOU Dr. Kirsten!"

    —Rachel R.

  • "Absolutely the best best best. I would have shed so many more tears postpartum had it not been for Revelle and Dr. Danielle Westphal. I truly looked forward to all of my appointments because the treatments were so effective. Danielle is an amazing physical therapist - she's extremely knowledgable, skilled, and made me feel so comfortable. I wish I had known about Revelle during pregnancy, but now I know have a trusted resource for all future needs."

    —Sarah S.

  • "Susan has been wonderful! I started coming to Revelle as I recovered from an abdominal surgery and have found it beneficial for my whole body! I look forward to my appointments and always leave feeling better and having learned something new. Susan is knowledgeable and kind and the fact that she is fun to chat with for an hour is a bonus! 10/10 recommend!"

    —Samantha H.

  • "I started going to Revelle very early in my pregnancy and am still going nearly two years after my daughter was born. The experience was instrumental in preparing me for childbirth and the continued healing process postpartum. The team at the Revelle is welcoming, knowledgeable and caring. I cannot recommend enough the value of investing in this type of physical therapy as part of your pre-and-postnatal care."

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Pelvic floor physical therapy helps treat symptoms related to your pelvic floor muscles—like leakage, pelvic pain, painful sex, prolapse symptoms, and core/diastasis recti issues. At Revelle, your PT will assess how your pelvic floor works with breathing, core, hips, and movement patterns—then create a plan that may include hands-on treatment, targeted exercises, and clear guidance for daily life and return to exercise.

  • No, Georgia allows direct access to schedule your initial physical therapy visit. You can book without a referral. However, we will need to get a signed PT prescription after a set amount of time, however this is something our office will take care of.

  • We’re an out-of-network practice. Many clients still get reimbursed through out-of-network benefits, and we provide a superbill for submission.

  • Yes—HSA/FSA is welcome.

  • Yes. Pelvic pain and painful sex (dyspareunia) are two of the most common reasons women come to Revelle. We’ll look at the full picture—pelvic floor muscle tension or weakness, breathing + core coordination, hip/back mobility, and daily habits that can contribute to symptoms. Treatment may include hands-on work when appropriate, targeted exercises, and clear guidance so you feel more comfortable in your body again.

  • Internal exams can give us the most accurate information about pelvic floor muscle coordination, strength, and tension—so we can create the best plan for you. They’re always optional and only done with your consent. If performed, we’ll explain each step, check in throughout, and go at your pace. We can also absolutely make progress without an internal exam.

  • We’ll start with a full conversation about symptoms + goals, then assess movement, breathing, core + pelvic floor coordination, mobility, and strength. Internal exams are optional and only done with your consent.

  • Whenever you’re ready. Many women schedule their first visit around the 6-week mark (or once they feel cleared to resume activity), but you don’t have to wait if you’re having symptoms or want support sooner. We’ll start with gentle recovery guidance and progress toward strength, confidence, and a safe return to exercise.
